| Part of Apple Mobile Device Service
Trying to stop the process does not work as it is configured to relaunch as a service by -- Services and Controller app -- services.exe
Since I do not use iPod or any Apple Mobile device, the service could be uninstalled from the add/remove control panel

| I do NOT have an Apple iPod or iPhone. I therefore have no use for this but no matter how often I disable it from running it keeps coming back. It is just like a virus and therefore should be treated like the malware it is and stopped from installing!

| Necessary to sync iPods and iPhones in iTunes. Otherwise, it's a hassle. You can probably get rid of it by going Start->Run->input "msconfig" and press enter->Services. It shows up in there and you can enable or disable it from there.
