| I think the program is generally harmless, but taking it out of the startup list won't hurt anything, either, since it will run again when you load up your ATI control center manually. I usually kill it after startup anyway, and just load it when it's needed.

| ATICCC is only needed at startup when you have two displays active at startup; otherwise, remove from start up as it slows down boot times. ATICCC has nothing to do with the drivers for any ATI cards or chips you have installed. It is software for manipulating the displays you have cabled up, as well as for Open GL and Direct X user controls for 3d graphics.
