| absolutely worthless, takes resources. HP seems to be really bad with all this bloatware and borderline spyware. Since I've never known anyone to need this, I can't help but wonder if the above comments were posted by HP itself

| It runs, and every once in a while it updates your devices. Nice to have something to keep drivers up to date without doing it manually. Good if you are not really into computers. It does keep running instead of shutting down however, so wastes system resource. Create a shortcut for it and run it on the first of the month.

| Not necessary. You can do updates manually. It sometimes fails on updates, so it's annoying. If you want to save yourself time, leave it enabled. Trustworthy and decent program. Specify how often you actually want it to check for updates in options.
