| This is the Realtek HD Audio Control Panel application. It should insert it's icon (looks same in tray as in GU startup manager) in the system tray. Under company should say: "Realtek Semiconductor", and uder product: "Realtek HD Audio Sound Effect Manager".
If you have an HD audiocard (most of the new computers and laptops) it's completely safe. However, if you suspect it, you can disable it anyway. It doesn't do any crutial funcion.
