| On HP computers, Recguard prevents the deletion or corruption of the WinXP Recovery Partition. Without it enabled, it is possible to knock that completely out and force the customer to send the PC back to HP for a re-image, possibly at the customer's expense

| Ce processus empche de modifier la partition de secours des ordinateurs Hewlett Packard ou Compaq.
Gnralement utilis en cas de problme majeur, la partition de secours permet de remettre votre ordinateur dans ltat quil tait lachat (souvent laide dune disquette ou dun CD dit de restauration ).
Il est vivement conseill de conserver ce processus.
