| Can't get rid of it. Keeps coming back. You can go to c:\program files\google\google....notification. Then I think there's another sub-folder with swg.dll?. you can't delete it, but you can move it and then when you delete it in startup, it won't come back!

| If you use Google as your default and want to keep the toolbar, this notifes you if another program tries to change it. If you don't use Google as your default and don't care about changing the toolbar, you can delete by going to your registry - Start>Run?type in regedit-click OK. It opens the registry - Click your way through these files - My Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run - this will have all of the startup files and if you don't recognize a name, type it in google and see what it is. If you see something you don't want, delete it. Other files to see are: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce; HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run (a second time); HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce (a second time); HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnceEx. Once you delete it is gone and should not come back. If it comes back, do a spyware scan

| Not neccessary and hard to remove. I think one of its function is to cling onto your browser(very much like a parasite!) to prevent other competitors' toolbars from replacing it(as default).
Its users(us)will unknowingly use its many functions and services frequently, and when we are familiarized & comfortable with something we tends to feel that its better than other similar services, and will most likely stick to it.
Then again, it's just my opinion!

| Renaming SWG.DLL prevented it for loading and reinstalling itself. This parasite has been exterminated. Thanks for the tip!

| Definitivamente não faz a mínima diferença no arranque. Tirar ou deixar, nada muda. Não se preocupem com isso.

| The tkbell.exe is a scheduler for RealOne Player. It periodically checks for updates. It is not required at start up!

| Toolbar Notifier protects your Google search settings and notifies you if a website or program attempts to change your default search settings. Sometimes malware attempts to redirect your searches to an unfamiliar search engine. If you confirm the change and choose a new default search engine, Toolbar Notifier will be disabled automatically.
Enable or disable Toolbar Notifier
Click Toolbar's wrench icon.
On the Search tab, select (or deselect) the 'Set and keep Google as the default search engine' checkbox.
Click Save.
